GoutPlate

A gout meal plan that also runs the diabetes filter

Purine totals and fructose figures side by side — for households where gout and diabetes both matter.

This plan applies

  • Comorbidity flag: diabetes — fructose kept visible per plate
  • Purine total per plate and per day
  • Data gaps shown as “No data available”, never guessed
Ships together with accounts — the food database below is live today.

Gout and type 2 diabetes frequently overlap, and their food patterns pull on the same table — which is why this preset runs both filters at once instead of one after the other.

With the diabetes flag on, every plate keeps its fructose figure visible next to the purine total, and daily summaries report both. The numbers come from the same sourced datasets used across the site.

Questions

How does the diabetes flag change a plan?
It keeps fructose values on every plate and in the daily summary, and the plan engine ranks plates whose fructose sits at the lower end of the data. Purine totals stay visible throughout.
Which fructose values are available?
Fructose comes from USDA FoodData Central, where roughly a fifth of foods carry the figure. Plates built on foods without a fructose value show “No data available” — the tool never fills gaps with estimates.
When does generation open?
Together with accounts. This page and the full food database work right now, without a login.
Is this medical advice?
No. GoutPlate presents sourced data and tool output. It does not provide medical advice — see the full disclaimer.
