A no-cook meal plan for gout flare days
When cooking is not on the table, the plan goes assembly-only — no stove, no timing, no clean-up pile.
This plan applies
- Flare mode: no-cook plates only
- Assembly-only steps, zero stove time
- Purine total shown per plate
On a flare day, cooking falls off the list first. Standing, chopping and timing a meal is more than the day allows — so this preset takes cooking out of the picture entirely and builds from plates that need only a knife, a bowl and a fridge.
Flare mode draws on the same plate set as no-cook days, and the plan engine keeps the week short on repeated main ingredients. Generation opens together with accounts; until then, the food database and every purine value on this page already work.
Questions
- Does flare mode include any cooking at all?
- No. The preset filters to plates tagged no-cook: open, slice, combine. Nothing that needs a stove, an oven or a pot.
- When does meal-plan generation open?
- Generation ships together with user accounts. Until then, this page, the food database and the purine levels are fully usable — nothing here sits behind a login.
- Where do the purine numbers come from?
- The USDA/ODS-NIH Purine Database, Release 2.0 (2025). Nutrient data comes from USDA FoodData Central. Values are copied from the sources and never estimated.
- Is this medical advice?
- No. GoutPlate presents sourced data and tool output. It does not provide medical advice — see the full disclaimer.
